Peter Bruns is - since 2014 – Artistic Director of the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra Leipzig. Besides concert tours and CD recordings there are many mutual projects like „Haydn hinter Gittern” – a concert series in German prisons – and their own concert series in the famous Gewandhaus in Leipzig.
